It is difficult to develop a profitable EA

I have been trying to develop a profitable forex EA these several weeks. The reason I want to do so is try to sell it and earn money.

However, I failed to develop it. The back test result is terrible.

Previous 2 months I am using ftnhosting vps and was happy about it although sometimes it always hang and restart but it restart very quickly. The monthly fee for using the vps is about USD$6.

However, after the new year 2012, something is wrong with ftnhosting vps. It is down for a few days already. No one from ftnhosting answer my support ticket.

The correct way to test your forex robot

I have been spending my weekends trying to develop my own forex robot. Purpose to develop own forex robot is due to I am not confident with the many forex EA in the market. I am not sure how are their behaviors and performances. If I can develop a profitable forex EA, I can use it for myself and consider to sell it to earn profits.
